The Chateau Laguiole was designed and developed by Guy Vialis, master Sommelier in the 1980's. Guy Vialis' creation is the renowned Chateau Laguiole recognised for its curved line, a waiter's corkscrew that is both elegant and powerful.
Details... The corkscrew itself has an indentation along the spiral worm which helps to grip the cork, a serrated knife to cut the foil and the lever arm doubles as a bottle opener. The Chateau Laguiole logo is imprinted on the lever section.
Characteristics... The Chateau Laguiole has a fully formed 'bee' insignia on the spine and an intricate decoration down the spine.there are many imitations of Laguiole corkscrews available, so take care when making your purchase.
Available in Black Horn, Juniper wood, Olive wood and Rosewood. The Black Horn version is made with highly polished stainless steel and the wooden versions with brushed stainless steel. All come with a real leather pouch as pictured. However, please note that the colours of the leather will vary.
